Vandana Das is a doctor from Kerala. He was killed by a criminal named Sandeep (42 years old, former teacher), who was brought by the police to the hospital for medical examination. The incident took place on the morning of May 10, 2023. Dr. Vandana is working as Duty Doctor at Kottarakkara Taluk Hospital, Kollam District. She was repeatedly stabbed on her neck and chest by Sandeep without any reason and she later died in a private hospital. The incident shocked everyone and someone wrote that it was a pure case of negligence on the part of the police officers on duty. During this, police officers were also injured in the incident.
